You would like to adopt
First, AOC, does not adopt like most rescues. All of our adoptions are in-home adoptions. Meaning, that we bring the dog or puppy
to you and introduce, him or her, to you in your home.
Why? We want to reduce the number of dogs or puppies returned for any number of reasons within days of being adopted.
We also will introduce the new dog or puppy into a house with established pets and help them to all adjust to each other and offer any
assistance we can, at the time of adoption and after.
We will not adopt a pet to a home with unaltered pets. All of the adoptable dogs or puppies are altered and mixing the two, unaltered and altered could lead to behavorial problems.
We reserve the right to deny any application.
Adoption fee - $165 No checks accepted from out of town bank accounts.
Mya is a young, eight month old Siberian Husky. She is black and white with brown eyes.
She was pulled from a shelter.
She is spayed and up to date on shots, including rabies.
Mya is going to be a large dog when she is an adult and has long thick fur. She will shed a lot when the seasons change.
She likes to talk the Husky talk.
She would do best in a home with another dog or dogs her size, as she likes companionship and it will help to quell the desire to escape and explore that some Husky's develop.
She will need a fenced in yard.
An apartment would not be the best for her, because of her size.
